Hello! I’m Anissa and here are some things I love.
Jesus and the Church. I don’t have a ten year plan for my life, but I find hope in this blessing from Scripture: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Travel. From the grassy fields and castle ruins of Scotland to the Alps of Austria to the vineyards and cathedrals of Italy, I love to see the world beyond my own backyard, and I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve had to do so.
Friends and Family. I’m blessed with some of the best of the best in the world.
Frisbee and Running. Ultimate or just tossing around. Half marathons or little jaunts around the neighborhood. I love it all.
Coffee. Once a tea purist, I decided I should appreciate coffee before graduating from college. A few excellent lattes and Starbucks trips later, I’m hooked. Can’t say I’m a connoisseur, but I can dream of reaching that title one day, right?
Food (eating, cooking, baking, and photographing it). My dream job is to own a bakery.
Credit for the name of this blog goes to Sara Groves’ song. Sara is a creative, wonderful singer-songwriter, and “Different Kinds of Happy” is one of my favorite of her songs.
