Different Kinds of Happy

This Fathers Day, I’m thinking about how blessed I am to have most wonderful Daddy imaginable: gentle-hearted yet strong, long-suffering in a house full of females, loving and understanding even in my worst moments, endlessly curious and always wanting to learn another fact or bit of knowledge (we’re still trying to convince him to go on Jeopardy), and exemplifying Jesus. Thanks for instilling in me a love of learning, reading, traveling, and so many other things I’ve come to appreciate more and more as I grow up. I love you more than words can say, and will always be your little girl.

(Tea bunny rides to bed were always the most fun.)

You were there to help Sonja and me brave our first transatlantic flight (to England)

Words cannot say how much I love you girls. I am not taking credit for what God has done in your life (and your sisters, as well) I have been so blessed. You continue to bless me each day.
